Viewing and Editing Files
Files may be viewed, and edited if desired. Opening Simulation Perspective
Eclipse organizes views into 'perspectives'. Open the 'IVI Simulation' perspective. This perspective shows the design structure, simulation output, and traced signals. Prepare for Simulation
Before the design can be simulated, a launch configuration must be created. The drop-down selects which design is run. Run Simulation and Trace Signals
Run simulation by clicking the 'Run' button. Trace signals by selecting signals in the design structure, then use the context menu. The traced signals will appear in the "IVI DFIO List" view. Run and stop simulation using the 'play' and 'stop' icons on the IVI launch view toolbar. View Waveforms
Open the waveform by double-clicking on "wave.ivw" in the project file list. In a future version, IVI will simplify wave-view management. |
